Radiosurgery

The development of radiosurgery has been a major advancement in the treatment of brain and spine tumors, vascular lesions of the brain, and other neurological disorders. Radiosurgery is a specialized form of treatment that allows for precise delivery of radiation to a target.

Neuro-Oncology Center

The USC Department of Neurological Surgery provides comprehensive care for all types of brain tumors. The faculty has extensive experience and a variety of treatment methods.

Most of these tumors can be treated in a variety of ways including: biopsy, surgical removal, radiation, Gamma Knife, and Cyberknife.

The department also has several ongoing research projects for brain tumors.
